Kenneth helped the United keep clean sheets in three of their league outings last month. The 20-year-old kept his place for the CIS Insurance Cup final but had to settle for a runners-up medal.

There was further disappointment for Kenneth in March since he was sent off in the final minute of a 1-0 defeat to Hearts at Tynecastle. Kenneth, who made his United debut in February 2005, spent the tail end of last season on loan at Cowdenbeath but is now a valuable member of manager Craig Levein's squad.
