Paul Dixon signs on the dotted line for United and he can't wait to make his debut in tangerine.

Dixon has agreed personal terms with United and Levein reckons Dixon has all the attributes to succeed in The SPL.

Levein said: “I’ve known about Paul for a few years and have always felt he was a player with potential to do well in The SPL.

“But, to be honest, at Dundee last season he did not play as often as he would have liked and now has to be looking to get things back on track.”

Despite Christian Kalvanes returning to Norway, Dixon will still face very stiff competition from Danny Grainger for the left-back slot.
