Cardiffs Feeney Loan deal PDF Print E-mail
Monday, 07 July 2008

Warren Feeney has joined United on a season-long loan.

United have signed Cardiff striker Warren Feeney on a season-long loan.

The 27-year-old Northern Ireland international joins fellow Bluebird Willo Flood at Tannadice, with midfielder Flood embarking on his second year on loan with the Clydesdale Bank Premier League club.

Cardiff's signing of striker Ross McCormack from Motherwell last month effectively ended Feeney's hopes of forcing his way in to manager Dave Jones' plans.

Feeney, formerly of Bournemouth, Stockport and Luton, signed for Cardiff in March 2007 and was loaned out to Swansea for four months of last season.
